Week 18 NFL Best Bets - Saturday January 3rd, 2026

Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET | ABC/ESPN

Chris Godwin Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+290)

Tampa Bay hosts Carolina in a Week 18 battle with obviously important playoff implications. Chris Godwin has reestablished himself as the No.2 option behind Mike Evans in the Buccaneers offense since returning from injury in Week 12. Over his last 4 games, Godwin is averaging almost 7 targets per game and has found pay dirt twice. At +290, the juice is worth the squeeze.

Tommy Tremble o16.5 Receiving Yards (-108)

We don't have a ton of tape or box scores to reference for Tommy Tremble, but with the injury last week to Ja'Tavion Sanders, Tremble will lead the Tight End group for Carolina for the remainder of the season. Since Week 14, Tampa Bay is allowing opposing TE's an average of 8 catches for 86 yards per contest (inflated by Kyle Pitts career game in week 15, but nonetheless). In what should be a close and hard fought game, Tremble should have no issues crossing this yardage mark.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers

Saturday, 8:00 p.m. ET | ABC/ESPN

San Francisco 49ers +2.5 (-102)

In a game that has primetime thriller written all over it (sort of a theme this season), Seattle travels to San Francisco in a battle for the NFC West division title. This is less of a bet on the 49ers, and more of a bet on Brock Purdy, who's playing the best football early on in his career. In what could be a shoot out, I'm leaning with Purdy at home against a tough Seahawks defense.
